SUSTAINABLE SOURCING

We believe in the power of well-

designed commercial furniture that is

both beautiful and functional.

By carefully selecting materials and

finishes suited to their intended use,

we can maximise the furniture's

lifespan.

For example, we'd recommend durable

and easy-to-clean materials for high-

traffic areas like dining rooms and opt

for natural fibers in soft seating areas

for their resilience and stain

resistance.

We leverage our industry expertise to

propose products that are adaptable

and can accommodate the future needs

of the business. For example, we’d

propose furniture that can be

reconfigured or extended as your

workspace evolves.

FIT FOR PURPOSE

DESIGNED TO LAST

The products we recommend are designed for longevity with most offering warranties of 5 to 15 years.

By investing in high-quality, durable products upfront, you minimise the need for frequent replacements and the associated costs of purchasing,

THIS REPORT SHOWS THE COMMERCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL BENFIT OF PURCHASING PRODUCTS

WITH LONGER WARRANTIES

This tool is primarily designed to demonstrate the

environmental benefits of purchasing products that are

built to last beyond the industry standard. We typically

only supply products with a warranty of 5 years or more

and advise against purchasing items with shorter

warranties. With modern materials and manufacturing

techniques, we believe you should be able to guarantee

usage for much longer, and therefore we offer many

products with warranties exceeding 5 years. This not

only brings financial benefits but also significantly

reduces the environmental impact, by not

manufacturing new items to replace old ones.

The secondary purpose of this illustration is to highlight

the differences in materials and carbon emissions

between various products. We believe that these

combined factors provide compelling reasons to invest

in furniture items that are designed to last and are

manufactured with the environment in mind.

DELAYING END OF LIFE

Looping back to point 2 , we can also utilise our distribution

network for secondhand furniture where it can be re-sold or

donated to a completely different organisation.

Some furniture items are more susceptible to damage or missing

parts due to misuse or neglect. While these issues may not be

covered under warranty, they are often easily repairable. An

example is missing keys or damaged locks on lockers and

storage, these can often easily and cost-effectively be repaired.

This not only reduces the need for costly replacements but also

minimises the environmental impact associated with disposal

and replacement.

Our Proactive Maintenance and Survey Services identify these

issues and allow us to quickly address them, ensuring your

furniture remains fully functional and a valuable asset.
